    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a global organization that is seeking a Litigation Counsel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role supports litigation matters including labor and employment and legal compliance matters. The company offers a competitive compensation package and benefits, annual bonus, a 401k plan with up to 5 % match, and a generous time off policy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage case tracking, deadlines, insurer communication, and outside counsel coordination

    • Respond to subpoenas, discovery, and insurer requests

    • Conduct research and assist with drafting letters, memos, and internal updates

    • Support enforcement of company agreements with former employees

    • Oversee a portfolio of liability and commercial claims, evaluating exposure and strategy

    • Select and manage outside counsel

    • Work with Labor & Employment team (restrictive covenants, non-competes, non-solicit, confidentiality and cease and desist letters)

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor from an accredited United States law school; licensed in at least one state

    • Eligible to work as in house counsel in Florida

    • 2+ years of litigation experience

    • Experience with e discovery and case management tools

    • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
