Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Mountain View, California. This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with responsibilities spanning complex reconciliations, detailed analyses, and collaboration across departments. As a long-term contract position, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform period-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end procedures for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Conduct flux analysis in NetSuite and present findings to the corporate controller during financial reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and create relevant financial reports.
• Research and interpret technical accounting standards, offering solutions and implementing recommendations as needed.
• Facilitate audit processes by addressing auditor requests and serving as a key resource during audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support management in various dynamic projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Tableau to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and credit card program management, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Extensive experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Coupa is required; familiarity with Blackline is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to perform complex journal entries and reconciliations with precision.
• Skilled in conducting flux analysis and presenting findings to senior management.
• Solid understanding of technical accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across departments and with auditors.
