Job Title: Reach Truck Operator** **Job Description

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by safely handling, storing, and retrieving materials using reach truck equipment. You will support the fulfillment process by ensuring inventory is accurately placed and accessible, contributing to the commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+ Operate reach truck equipment to move, stack, and count merchandise in designated warehouse zones.

+ Safely transport inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper placement and stability of pallets.

+ Replenish empty pick bins and put away received products according to inventory control guidelines.

+ Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock and warehouse areas.

+ Assist in inventory counts and audits using RF scanners or headset systems (e.g., VoCollect).

+ Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and adherence to food safety and housekeeping standards.

+ Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize space utilization and workflow.

+ Support other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Forklift and reach truck operation experience.

+ Material handling expertise.

+ Experience with RF scanners.

+ Ability to load and pick orders efficiently.

+ Proficiency in using stand-up lift and reach forklifts, including Crown forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must have reach truck experience.

+ High school diploma or GED required; technical education or warehouse certifications preferred.

+ Minimum 1 year of reach truck experience in a warehouse setting.

+ Ability to pass a reach truck operational test with 80% or higher.

+ Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.

+ Comfortable working at elevated heights and in refrigerated environments.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.

+ Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large distribution center with open-air conditions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30-4:30 pm, with occasional overtime required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
