Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up and operate Bridgeport Manual Mill and Lathe machines. You will work on 1-4 jobs at a time, creating adhesive products, equipment, and parts for a variety of customers. This role involves inspecting machine parts using micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate Bridgeport Manual Mill and Lathe machines based on work instructions and blueprints.

+ Work on multiple jobs simultaneously, typically ranging from 1 to 4 jobs at a time.

+ Create and manufacture adhesive products, equipment, and parts for diverse customers.

+ Utilize micrometers and calipers to inspect machine parts for accuracy and quality.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in Manual Machining.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Experience in machine operating and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology (preferred).

+ Familiarity with CNC, grinding, and drill press operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
