    Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of CNC machinery in a dynamic production environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up CNC machines and indicate jaws accurately.

    + Select and install the appropriate inserts for each application.

    + Adjust tool offsets to prevent machine crashes.

    + Interpret program coordinates and relate them to the zero location of the jaws.

    + Download and select programs from the directory to the machine.

    + Identify and troubleshoot errors effectively.

    + Check for tool wear, breakage, and monitor tool life.

    + Change and preset tools as necessary.

    + Perform deburring with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC Machine Set Up with at least one machine required.

    + Three to five years of experience in CNC maintenance or related fields.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ability to interpret program coordinates and select appropriate tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in injection molding is a significant advantage.

    + Understanding of tool wear and maintenance.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a production and machine shop environment with shifts available from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and 10 pm to 6 am. Employees must wear PPE, including steel toe boots. The role requires standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts with a manageable noise level.

    This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
