    Essential Job Duties:

    + Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner

    + Use order sheets to accurately select cases of product

    + Build pallets of product according to company standards

    + Load trailers in a safe and organized manner

    + Perform cleaning and general housekeeping tasks each night

    + Perform Letdowns accurately in a timely manner

    + Fill out all paperwork accurately and completely

    + Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards

    + Follow all OSHA safety regulations

    + Communicate inaccuracies with Leads and Supervisors

    + Follow all Empire Packing/Denver Processing policies and procedures

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma

    + Ability to speak, read and write English

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work 40+ hour work weeks

    + Ability to work in 32⁰ and below environment

    + Ability to make quick and decisive decisions: good judgment and common sense required

    + Attention to detail

    + Good math skills

    + Ability to follow directions

    + Display strong work ethic and positive attitude

    + Professional attitude and appearance

    + Ability to obtain a forklift and pallet jack license

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and kneel repeatedly for long periods of time
