    General Nature of Work

     

    • Provides customer service and responds to visitor inquiries.

    • Maintains HIPAA standards related to Privacy and Security.

    • Maintains CPR Certification.

    • Performs duties to maintain the cleanliness of the building, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning countertops, removing trash, and cleaning trash cans.

    • May be required to shampoo carpets and strip and wax floors.

    • Moves and arranges furniture as requested.

    • Opens/unlocks and/or closes/locks the building daily.

    • On occasion, may work nontraditional and/or weekend hours as assigned to support health department activities.

    • Acts as a courier within the building and between the post office and the district health office, etc.

    • On occasion, works outside to set up tents, tables, chairs, equipment, etc. to support special events.

    • This position will require driving company vehicles.

    • Responds to Public Health Emergencies

    Minimum Qualifications

    Any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.(Please mail or bring a copy of College Transcript or Diploma to Interview—must have official transcript prior to start date). This position requires the ability to bend and reach up and involves pushing, pulling, and some heavy lifting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in housekeeping or facility maintenance

    • One or more years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Highlight any experience related to the Preferred Qualifications . This position may require driving company vehicles (Valid driver’s license required) and working some evenings and weekends during special events such as health fairs and responding to disasters. Selected applicant must consent to a motor vehicle record assessment. Points should be less than 10 and/or not negatively impact insurance rates for the agency . Drug screen, criminal background check and immunization records may be required. If selected, male applicants between 18 and 26 years of age must present proof of Selective Service Registration.
