    About the Role & Program:

    The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Communications department is seeking a Digital Media Intern to support the Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) Digital team. This intern will contribute to digital projects, including internal and external websites, email communications, and media asset management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    What You Will Do:

    As a Digital Media Intern, you will:

    + CodeHTML emailsand web pages.

    + Create and update events on the internalEvent Registrationplatform.

    + Manage and prepare media assets and create web pages throughWordPress.

    + Update and manage content across multiple websites, includingD23.com,The Walt Disney Archives, andTheWaltDisneyCompany.com.

    Required Qualifications & Skills:

    + Experience withHTMLfor web page and email creation.

    + Familiarity withContent Management Systems (CMS)likeWordPress.

    + Basic understanding ofHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.

    + Basic knowledge ofAdobe PhotoshopandIllustrator.

    + Experience withvideo encoding software.

    + Familiarity withjQueryand otherJavaScript libraries.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

    + Experience withUX/UI design.

    + Familiarity withaccessibility standards.

    Education:

    + Junior or Senior year preferred

    + Major or previous coursework in Web Design,Web Technology,Computer Science, or a related field.

    Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

    + Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

    + Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

    + Be at least 18 years of age

    + Possess unrestricted work authorization

     

    The pay rate for this role in Glendale, CA is $38.00 per hour.
