    This position is within the Office of Management and Finance (OMF), a team that helps keep Louisiana Works operating smoothly through key administrative functions. As a Human Resources Analyst, you’ll assist with a variety of HR activities such as payroll, benefits, and compliance while working with applicant tracking systems and other HR platforms.     Minimum Qualifications

    Three years of human resources experience; OR

    Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

    A bachelor’s degree.

    EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

    Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Job Duties:

    + Support agency payroll processes and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

    + Provide guidance and support to staff who manage timekeeping.

    + Generate reports to identify payroll discrepancies, assist with corrections, and support the recovery of overpayments.

    + Assist with employee benefits by serving as a point of contact for staff, retirees, and the Office of Group Benefits (OGB), helping answer questions and route issues appropriately.

    + Serve as a backup for retirement-related processes and provide cross-coverage for HR functions as needed.

    + Participate in HR projects, including system updates, online leave processes, reimbursements, and report preparation.

    + Support HR leadership on special projects related to payroll and human resources policies and procedures.
