UMC is currently seeking a Community Life Assistant for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements for a Community Life Assistant:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ **Health care - must have CNA

+ 90 hour course activity

+ One year general work

Responsibilities for a Community Life Assistant:

+ Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participat i on and participates in ass i gned programming. Conducts assigned programs including 1 to 1 visits. Assists with field trips and outings.

+ Transports residents to and from planned activities within or external to community.

+ Assists with documentation- daily attendance records and 1 to 1 records.

+ Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as

+ Assures supplies are available for various activities/programs.

+ Gives input to residents care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress
