United Methodist Communities is currently seeking a Housekeeper for The Shores, our Senior Care Community located in Ocean City, NJ within picturesque Cape May County.

UMC (United Methodist Communities) at The Shores, a premier retirement and assisted living community, located in the seaside town of Ocean City, New Jersey seeks Artist in Residence for summer 2026.

The AiR will create arts enrichment opportunities for UMC residents during the summer months in this senior living community. In exchange, the AIR will room and board on our beautiful campus, a stipend of $4,000, professional development, and experience with intergenerational arts programing among some very talented and established UMC residents.

What's in it for the Artist in Residence?

+ For the duration of the internship, UMC will provide a fully furnished suite.

+ Lunch and dinner will be provided daily at no charge.

+ The AIR will have the opportunity to use the UMC community as your "Blank Canvas" for creating a Summer Arts Enrichment Program for UMC residents.
