Summary
The candidate will be part of the Device & Asset Management Team (DAM), whose mission is to provide our stakeholders with timely replacements and upgrades to aging corporate computer devices. Through our dedication to continuous improvement and innovation we aim to drive and improve productivity through advancements in new computer and peripheral technologies.
This position is responsible for providing timely, state-of-the-art technology and device updates through several efficient delivery channels.
What You Will Do
+ Configure, support and maintain corporate computing devices using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
+ Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and peripherals.
+ Ensure quality assurance and reliability measures are followed.
+ Work directly on the Computer Lifecycle Strategy to lifecycle computer hardware - Includes consulting with end users, inventory reconciliation and creation of work order requests.
+ Consult with both end users and computer technicians on computer hardware standards and configurations to address any outstanding issues and provide long term solutions for the customer.
+ Assist in defining and documenting processes relating to Asset and Lifecycle management in order to improve the customer experience and internal department efficiency.
+ Provide detailed reporting on computer assets and lifecycle replacement forecasts.
+ Keep current on technology industry trends or issues and assess impacts on existing computer configurations and standards.
+ Assist in maintaining personal computing equipment and inventory.
+ Communication and coordination with other SRP departments
+ Work within a defined set of processes and procedures, including Knowledge, and Tickets.
+ Create knowledge articles for Support and Business stakeholders.
+ Assist with other unlisted duties as needed.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
+ Experience with the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office productivity suite as well as Android\IOS mobile devices.
+ A strong background in client support and demonstrated ability to work with clients of varied technical skill levels.
+ Oral and written communication skills, including understanding of good documentation practices.
+ Well organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education
College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
