The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily quality control operations, drives customer and supplier quality performance, and develops a strong, high-performing quality control team.Why Work at Rittal:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities

+ Develop and maintain inspection plans, test methods, and calibration systems

+ Supervise and develop quality control supervisors, engineers, technicians, and inspectors

+ Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, and regulatory standards

+ Oversee First Article Inspections and measurement system accuracy

+ Lead customer and supplier quality activities and issue resolution

+ Oversee special processes including paint, weld, and gasketing

+ Support NPI deliverables including inspection criteria and PPAP elements

+ Lead quality control audits and manage corrective actions to closure

+ Analyze quality data to identify risks and improvement opportunities

+ Drive continuous improvement using structured problem-solving and statistical tools

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

+ 5+ years of quality control or similar leadership experience

+ Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, inspection methods, drawings, and metrology

+ Proficiency with SPC, gaging, calibration systems, and quality software

+ Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred

+ Experience in machining, metalworking, or assembly environments preferred
