Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is looking for a person to join our foundry team as a Coremaking Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating sand cores used in the metal casting process. This role requires attention to detail, and a strong willingness to train on coremaking techniques and materials while adhering to safety standards.

This role includes salary starting at $23.22/hour with periodic wage increases, healthcare insurance, employee discount programs, free employee assistance program, and more. Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Don’t miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 2nd and 3rd shift employees!

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

+ Set up, operate and adjust core machines

+ Mix sand and binders to create core materials

+ Assemble cores and patterns to molds and fill them with core materials

+ Use of JIB hoist/pallet jack to maneuver materials

+ Use of hand tool to complete core making process

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety policies

Required qualifications for Mapleton Seals Production Associate:

+ Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

+ Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Top candidates will also have:

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Basic knowledge in reading and interpreting prints

+ Proficiency in Coremaking machines and using related tools

Additional Information:

+ Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shifts

+ 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday night-Friday morning

+ This position does not offer relocation

+ This position requires no travel

+ Candidates must be at least 18 years of age

+ Positions are supplemental full-time
