Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our Database team is responsible for providing the support and maintenance of the IT system’s extensive databases.

As the Informatics Manager, you will help to ensure that Hawai‘i Pacific Health continues to be an industry leader in the application of Information Technology to quality health care. Your objectives include providing on-going development of analytics pertaining to quality improvement, service excellence, revenue cycle, clinical operations and other financial application systems. You will also oversee activities of analysts trained to manipulate information to create analytics that support clinical and operational decision making for leadership teams across the facilities. We are looking for someone with outstanding systems, technical and organizational skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawaii.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Health Care or related field. Five (5) years of information technology analyst support experience. Three (3) years of experience managing IT analysts. Three (3) years of experience working in a health related field. Experience working with databases and development of reports.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with EPIC Clarity. Experience building datamarts, data visualization.
