Additional Information:

+ This is a 2nd shift position, Mon – Fri 3pm -11pm

+ Located in East Peoria, IL (701 W. Washington St East Peoria, IL 61630)

+ Ability to work overtime when required

What You Will Do:

+ Perform a variety of functions to ensure that quantities received, processed and checked out are in agreement and that variations are accounted for

+ Close work orders

+ Analyze items to be stored, ensures proper processing and controls major storage locations

+ Investigates discrepancies between Master Stock Records and actual stock counts to determine source of error and to locate lost stock

+ Assists in investigating and resolving problems associated with material systems and procedures and in developing new procedures

+ Controls the procedures for receiving purchased materials and shipping of outgoing materials

+ Directs the movement and disposition of inbound and outbound railroad cars

+ Schedules and dispatches industrial railroad cars and or company trucks

+ Operates electrode position paint bath and related equipment

+ Provides guidance to other employees as directed by supervisor

What You Have:

+ **Safety:** Conducts daily maintenance and keeps track of safety logs on equipment. Inspects working environment to promote safe work area. Utilizes personal protective equipment required or recommended for task at hand. Speak up if safety concerns are encountered. Take personal accountability for safety. Knowledge of 5S Housekeeping concepts to keep a safe and clean manufacturing environment

+ **Manufacturing Processes:** Documents relevant standards, policies and practices. Follows standard manufacturing processes to conduct production activities. Basic understanding of computers to perform simple computer tasks and operations.

+ **Mechanical/Machinery:** Uses/operates and maintains complex tools and machinery. Understands how to use, operate, and maintain various equipment, tools, and machinery.

+ **Collaboration:** Work together as a team to help each other learn and meet shared goals. Come to work with a positive attitude and ideas for continuous improvement. Strong attendance is key in order to collaborate effectively as a team.

+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Responsible for inventory accuracy. Learn from mistakes and apply lessons learned. Uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. The ability to properly perform quality checks; Focus on accuracy to provide our customers with the best possible experience.

+ **Effective Communications:** Uses verbal and non-verbal communication to receive direction and share ideas and job-related needs. Always demonstrate effective communication with a professional demeanor. Maintains focus on the topic at hand with a team-oriented outlook.

What You Will Get:

+ Starting wage is $23.22/hour (additional $1 shift premium for off shifts). Overtime opportunities paid, time and a half (some may be mandatory).

+ ***Supplemental roles: receive some benefits, including:**

+ 40 hours of paid personal time per year, prorated based on start date

+ Tax deferred retirement plan after 1,000 hours of service.

+ Opportunity to enroll in a Consumer Driven Health Plan (high deductible, low premium health plan)
