Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is growing, and our Somerset, NJ Environmental Department is looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our team. Whether you're a recent graduate or an emerging professional with a few years of experience, this is your chance to gain hands-on fieldwork, expand your technical skills, and grow with a respected environmental consulting firm.

Environmental Scientist Responsibilities:

+ Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for residential and commercial projects

+ Collect soil, soil gas, indoor air (vapor intrusion), and groundwater samples

+ Analyze and evaluate environmental data

+ Assist with writing clear, accurate technical reports and deliverables

Environmental Scientist Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred)

+ Familiarity with NJDEP regulations and technical guidance (preferred)

+ Strong writing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills

+ GIS experience (a plus, but not required)

+ Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
