As a FE Automotive Product Quality Engineer, you will be a member of the worldwide quality team responsible for driving BIC(Best In Class) Automotive product quality and reliability improvement initiatives into the Fabrication MFG network. We're seeking a New College Graduate to Develop, manage, and communicate quality strategy with line-of-sight metrics and goals to monitor execution health. This person will work closely with Product Engineering/Product Yield Enhancement/Design/Product Yield Analysis, fab teams to establish BKMs(Best Known Method), set up KPI metrics, and develop a strategy for Continuous Improvements. Additionally, you will also work with business partners, global supply chain and key stakeholders to develop the strategy for continually improving Automotive product quality and reliability for FE and supporting customers or activities for customer return DPM reduction towards zero defect global quality initiative. This person will also develop and drive compliance in global business processes related to product quality.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives or enabling projects that support FLT and companywide quality objectives.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy BKMs of BE to FE collaboration process like Customer Return Material DPM forecast and reduction etc.
+ Perform Data Mining of Reliability Fails and collaborate with Yield Enhancement to generate defect pareto and drive fab process improvement action in collaboration with process integration.
+ Drive and implement Time to mature Business Process to achieve Field risk failure and customer return DPM target.
+ Develop metrics to monitor product targets, including Automotive PG, Critical Repair Density, BURN ABL FIT etc.
+ Meet Automotive Eligibility targets and provide the roadmap in partnership with fab teams.
+ Act as SME in reliability fail modes and its associated detection, drives, and engage in quality projects for overall DPM reduction.
+ Partner with fab team to act on and provide Corrective and Preventive Actions with regards to customer feedback on quality and product issues.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Micro-Electronics
+ Proven understanding of Semiconductor Device Operation, CMOS Device, DRAM/FLASH Memory Circuit a plus
+ Understanding of Fabrication Process, test flow, methodologies a plus
+ Strong project management skills with emphasis in data extraction, analysis and reporting
+ Demonstrated ability to maintain strong and open relationships with peer and other functional managers
