In this position...

The Ford Racing Body Interior Team is seeking an independent, empowered and passionate Body Interior PMT Engineer to support engineering delivery of upcoming, cutting-edge on and off-road vehicle programs.

Ford Racing Body Interior Engineering PMT lead to support upcoming performance on and off road programs.

What you'll do...

+ Manage delivery of GPDS milestone deliverables across all Interior commodities.

+ Lead the design, release, and delivery of Body Interior components and systems for Ford Racing Road Car Programs.

+ Facilitate effective change management throughout design, development, and launch for Interior commodities.

+ Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones.

+ Work with Purchasing to source commodities.

+ Lead FS (Full Service) and BTP (Build to Print) suppliers and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject programs.

+ Assure conformance to the Ford Performance DNA and all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements.

+ Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch phases.

+ Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Body Engineering Organization.

+ Support PMT lead and program team with overall program function.

You'll have...

+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering

+ 2+ Years of experience in Body Design & Release, including delivery of 1 completed program

+ Experience in a PMT/SET lead or engineer role preferred

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ 2 Years of experience utilizing CAD and/or other visualization tools

+ Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS

+ Working knowledge of Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS, 3DX

+ Fabrication/mockup skills to demonstrate proof of concept

+ Independent self-starter that can connect analytical tools with physical hardware and vehicle performance

+ Passion for performance vehicles

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8 .
