What We Offer
The Lead EPIC Billing professional performs many of the same duties as Intermediate and Senior ITS team members but is also responsible for higher‑level leadership, system expertise, and project oversight specific to EPIC Billing.
+ Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed).
+ Location: Remote
+ Department: NMG DPS Billing Support
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of EPIC Billing systems to support operational, financial, and clinical workflows
+ Manage and contribute to larger, more complex, and higher‑impact EPIC-related projects
+ Provide project leadership by delegating tasks, coordinating efforts, and ensuring successful outcomes
+ Develop highly optimized solutions and processes informed by extensive EPIC and IT systems experience
+ Ensure EPIC Billing configurations adhere to organizational standards, architectural principles, and security requirements
+ Serve as a mentor, coach, and trainer to team members, helping to elevate skills and knowledge across the team
+ Collaborate closely with operational leaders, revenue cycle stakeholders, and technical partners to address issues and drive improvements
What We're Looking For
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of four yrs relevant experience, required.
+ Licensure/Certification: Application System Certification. Pass all cert. with passing grade within three tries for each test or project, required
+ EPIC Professional Billing certification strongly preferred.
+ Additional skills required: Ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues Proficient with workflows, application product function, design and build expertise. Demonstrates ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues. Thinks strategically to help define the answers to the changes within the organization. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrates strong professional interpersonal skills in dealing with others. Strong analytical skills for new functions, problem resolution and support of the application product. Proficient in ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
