The Opportunity:
As a Strategic Operations Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level operational planning, coordination, and advisory support to I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports strategic- and operational-level planning activities, integration across staff sections, and coordination with joint, service, and interagency partners. The position serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring operational initiatives are synchronized, executable, and aligned with higher headquarters guidance.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide senior-level strategic operations support to I MEF leadership and staff.
+ Support development, integration, and synchronization of operational plans and initiatives.
+ Coordinate strategic operations activities across I MEF staff sections and Major Subordinate Commands.
+ Support planning conferences, working groups, and senior-level operational forums.
+ Analyze operational requirements, risks, and constraints and provide recommendations to leadership.
+ Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and decision-support products.
+ Coordinate with joint, interagency, and service partners as required.
+ Track strategic initiatives, milestones, and deliverables to support mission execution.
+ Operate independently while providing senior-level judgment and advisory support.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent military experience).
+ **10+ years** of experience in strategic or operational planning within a DoD environment.
+ Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and staff-level operations.
+ Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
+ Ability to operate independently in complex operational environments.
+ **Active TS/SCI clearance** .
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience supporting MEF-level, Joint, or Combatant Command operations.
+ Familiarity with joint planning processes and operational synchronization.

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$81,200 - 170,600 USD
