The Work
The Digital Solutions Specialist will provide essential client delivery work in digital marketing and software development. The position will collaborate closely with both the Digital Marketing Specialist and Web App Developer in Cayuse Native Solutions to deliver integrated solutions for Indigenous clients, including Native Nations, tribal entities, Native-owned businesses and organizations that serve Indigenous people.
This blended position helps ensure that Cayuse Native Solutions delivers digital services that are technically robust, culturally relevant, and strategically aligned with the needs of Indigenous clients. By working closely with both marketing and development teams, the specialist will help drive innovation, engagement, and long-term success for the communities Cayuse serves.

Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with and support Digital Marketing team: Work in tandem with the Digital Marketing Specialist to plan, design, and execute digital campaigns and projects. Support the creation of digital solutions, including websites, digital marketing campaign materials, social media, advertisements, brochures, reports, brand management, and other digital content. Help maintain, edit, organize, and moderate graphics library and digital assets.
+ Collaborate with and support Web/App Development team: Work with the Web App Developer to build, maintain, and optimize web and mobile applications for client projects. Work solo (under leadership guidance) or as part of a team to help develop mobile and desktop applications. Maintain, debug, and troubleshoot applications. Work with clients and a project team to gather and analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into client solutions. Contribute to development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment.
+ Support Indigenous Clients: Develop culturally relevant digital solutions and digital marketing materials that reflect the values, needs, and aspirations of Indigenous communities. Work with the project manager to proactively seek client feedback and adapt approaches to ensure respectful and effective engagement.
+ Integrated Project Delivery: Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support. This may involve working with staff in other subsidiary entities of the Cayuse family of companies and/or with independent contractors.
+ Content Creation & Technical Implementation: Design and implement creative graphics, web content, and interactive features using modern frameworks (React, Angular, WordPress, etc.) and digital marketing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Wix, Squarespace, Figma, social media platforms).
+ Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign and application performance using analytics tools. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve outcomes for both marketing and technology projects.
+ Client Support & Relationship Building: Maintain effective client relations, deliver timely information, and support Indigenous clients throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, project implementation, post-delivery support and knowledge transfer. Support company leadership in identifying and seeking out potential project opportunities.
+ Brand & Identity Management: Uphold and enhance Cayuse’s branding and graphic identity standards across all digital platforms and client-facing materials.
+ Continuous Learning & Team Growth: Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing and software development. Support the growth of Cayuse’s programming and marketing teams through mentorship, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
+ Outreach & Representation: Occasionally represent Cayuse Native Solutions at tradeshows, meetings, and events, communicating the value of integrated digital solutions to Indigenous audiences.
+ CNS marketing: Support CNS digital marketing efforts, including social media accounts, graphics creation, writing blog and newsletter stories, gathering content, etc.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Here’s What You Need
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital arts, marketing, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in front-end development (React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and digital marketing (social media, graphic design, content creation).
+ Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations, with demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity.
+ Experience in client engagement, project management, and technical documentation
+ Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
+ Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and social media platforms.
