Description

Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for administering routine repairs orders for aircraft components in support of mainline aircraft maintenance, including repair order release and invoice payment
+ Continuously monitors supplier performance with respect to contractual metrics including turn-time, quality and cost
+ Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations and policies governing aircraft component repairs
+ Responsible for administering routine repairs orders and exchanges with suppliers through programs: Q-Tools and/or SCEPTER for aircraft components, holding the supplier accountable to return the PN within the contractual Turn Around Time (TAT), supporting our mainline aircraft maintenance, including repair order release, exchange orders and invoice payment
+ Perform computer transactions through programs such as Q-Tools, SCEPTER and Outlook to release and manage repair orders within contractual timelines as well as Flags any parts that are behind schedule and sets up remediation to meet with L5 CRM and 3rd party on expediting return to service
+ Leads internal meetings and prepares data to review progress on parts that they are responsible for that are in Discrepancy, Past Due and/or invoice disputes
+ Monitor supplier adherence to contractual pricing through price quote and work scope management
+ Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations and policies governing aircraft component repairs
+ Support warranty and remedy claims for repair orders
+ Continuously monitors supplier performance with respect to contractual metrics including turn-time, quality and cost
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
+ Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
+ 2+ year experience in supplier management, operational management, technical or quality-control experience
+ Aircraft maintenance practices and regulatory requirements
+ Basic MS Office, e.g. Excel
+ Basic data analysis and spreadsheet skills
+ Basic task-management skills
+ Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
+ Bachelor's degree in aviation management
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
+ 4+ year experience in supplier management, operational management, or technical- or quality-control experience
+ Aviation supplier management or production control experience
+ Practical experience managing aircraft component repairs
+ Advanced MS Office, e.g. VBA
+ SCEPTRE skills
+ SQL skills
+ Modern programming language, e.g. Python, Java
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
