    • **Shift:** 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Night Shift)

    • **Schedule:** Part-Time | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call

    Role Overview

     

    As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll perform diagnostic testing and quality control to ensure accurate and timely results. You will prepare reagents, review moderate to high complexity testing, maintain equipment and computer systems, and collaborate with the laboratory team to uphold BayCare’s standards of excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

    + Prepare reagents and report results according to established policies

    + Review and oversee moderate to high complexity testing

    + Monitor and maintain computer applications

    + Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • **Certification & Licensure**

    + **Required:** State of Florida Technician License

    + Must meet CLIA High Complexity Testing criteria

    • **Education**

    + **Required:** Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution OR equivalent training and education

    • **Experience**

    + **Required:** Clinical laboratory experience
