Manufacturing Engineer Intern

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will ensure that manufacturing processes, within SGPPL Clearwater, are operating up to standard, as dictated by operating and run standards. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern (MEI) will work alongside the engineering and maintenance team. The MEI will lead or support projects in both engineering and maintenance which may include but is not limited to process improvement, optimization, and troubleshooting, process and equipment IQ/OQ/PQ validations, machine breakdown analysis, and/or quality related corrective action investigations. The MEI will also aid in the development of a more robust breakdown and preventative maintenance program and participate in WCM activities for the engineering and maintenance departments.-

Essential Functions-
+ Lead process or machine improvement, optimization, or troubleshooting activities. -
+ Lead/assist in IQ/QQ/PQ activities.-
+ Assist with WCM activities.-
+ Assist in the development and installation of a new CMMS system for maintenance in the facility. -
+ Assist with WCM activities.-
+ Lead/assist new or ongoing corrective action projects (CAPAs).-
Qualifications-
+ Bachelor of Engineering - Student pursuant of degree, and planned graduation within 12 months --
+ 3+ Engineering courses
+ Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus
