Position Purpose:
The Respiratory Assistant I functions in administering and performing respiratory therapy floor care under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
What You Will Do:
+ Clean respiratory equipment and prepare it for use by Respiratory Therapists
+ Check for expired medications and supplies
+ Assemble airway boxes and carts
+ Stock supplies in respiratory department and on nursing units
Minimum Qualifications:
+ **Education:** Enrolled in, and in good standing in a formal respiratory care educational program.
+ **Licensure / Certification:** N/A
+ Maintain current BLS certification
