Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Production Associate - Entry Level to join their dynamic team. As a General Production Associate - Entry Level, you will be an essential part of the production and shipping department, supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** General Production Associate - Entry Level

**Location:** Carol Stream, IL

**Pay Range:** $21

**Shift:** First

What's the Job?

+ Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials and shipments

+ Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, bending, twisting, and stooping for an 8-hour shift

+ Follow all safety policies and practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and machine safety features

+ Receive, track, load, and unload shipments in delivery trucks

+ Prepare, label, and stockpile orders according to size, shape, and type, ensuring accuracy and quality

What's Needed?

+ Ability to operate a sit-down forklift proficiently

+ Physical capability to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly, 50 lbs. occasionally, and 100 lbs. with assistance

+ Comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment with standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods

+ Ability to read and interpret work orders to meet customer requirements

+ Experience with hand tools such as strappers, banders, and shrink wrap equipment is a plus
