    Our client, a leader in knifemaking, is seeking a Surface Grinder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation and metal grinding.

     

    Job Title: 2nd Shift Surface Grinder

     

    Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00

     

    Hours: 3:30pm - 12:00am

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Grinding large steel plates and bars

    + Set-up, adjustment, and operation of Blanchard/Mattison grinders

    + Learn proper grind stone selection and use for steel to grind

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 1 year of experience with grinding metals/steels

    + 1 year of machining experience

    + Knowledge of machine operations

    + Experience with inspection tools
