The Team
We are seeking a Manager, Managed Networks Support Services to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Managed Networks team. The team provides wireless connectivity solutions to venue and carrier customers. On a day-to-day basis, the team designs, implements, and manages the overall performance of these wireless solutions. The Manager leads a team that delivers centralized services and drives enhanced effectiveness of delivery and operations. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in service delivery while aligning with strategic business goals.
As a manager, you will lead your team to develop and drive scalability; efficiency through IT systems, automation, etc.; and overall effectiveness in the execution of key operational programs and initiatives with internal and external customers. Your team will lead strategic planning initiatives, spend allocation planning, set up and managing key operational programs, owning and developing systems, processes, and tools in partnership with others.
What You Need to Succeed
+ Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Business, Computer Science, or other technical discipline preferred.
+ A minimum of 8 years of industry experience required.
+ Experience in a wireless, IT, or similar technical telecommunications environment preferred.
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large scale, complex projects and/or programs preferred.
+ Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results.
+ Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines; ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work effectively and professionally with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results.
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas concisely, clearly, and effectively.
+ Ability to effectively analyze data and prepare creative and insightful presentations.
+ Sound financial analysis and budgeting skills, with overall financial acumen and fiscal reasonability.
+ Ability to create and refine business processes and procedures.Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.

Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, certifications, job level, and location. For U.S.-based candidates only, the base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, with eligibility for annual bonus, and annual equity award and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). For candidates outside of the U.S., salary and benefits are based upon local market practice.

What You Can Offer Us
+ Lead a team to develop a multi-year strategic roadmap for the evolution of systems and tools to capture meaningful data and leverage insights for improved operations.
+ Evaluate current systems, process, and tools periodically and identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of delivery, with a focus on automating and leveraging technology solutions.
+ Lead high impact cross-functional initiatives, partnering with functional leads and key stakeholders like Business Enablement, IT, FP&A, Supply Chain, Specialty Engineering, and others.
+ Establish reporting to manage the integrity of operations-centric data in all operation tools and systems; highlight gaps and address those with partners.
+ Develop, refine, and elevate data attainment and care.
+ Establish effective reporting to measure progress on key programs and initiatives against plans; identify and highlight areas for improving efficiency and/or automation.
+ Lead the development and refinement of end-to-end work processes for new and existing products, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
+ Manage and support the evolution of systems and tools and develop detailed implementation plans, including delivery of approved project scopes and associated budgets.
+ As a Manager, you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development of support services team members. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.
+ Other duties as assigned.
