    Job Title: Utility/Energy Industry Operations Specialist

     

    Duration: 06+ months Contract (Possibility of Extension)

     

    Pay Range: $35-$40/hr on W2, 40 Hrs/Week

    Key Responsibilities:

    Invoice Management.

     

    Post and reconcile invoices accurately and timely.

     

    Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Purchase Order (PO) Management:

    Create new POs and process changes as required.

     

    Monitor PO status and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.

    Contract Administration:

    Draft, review, and update contracts in alignment with business needs.

     

    Track contract milestones, renewals, and compliance requirements.

    Construction Schedule Monitoring:

    Utilize Quickbase to monitor and update construction schedules.

     

    Coordinate with project teams to ensure timelines are met and issues are escalated promptly.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with finance, procurement, and project management teams.

     

    Support audits and reporting requirements as needed.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    **B** achelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.

     

    3–4 years of experience in operations within the Utility/Energy industry.

     

    Hands-on experience with invoice processing, PO management, and contract administration.

     

    Familiarity with Quickbase or similar project management tools.

     

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

     

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    Preferred Skills:

    Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

     

    Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

     

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
