Compensation & Incentives
+ **Salary Range:** **$97,052 – $145,000 annually** , based on experience
+ **Incentive Bonus:** Eligible for up to 17.5%
+ **Sign-On Bonus:** Available on a case-by-case basis
+ **Relocation Assistance:** Available on a case-by-case basis
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for a busy surgical department. This role oversees all surgical services and reports directly to executive leadership. The Director will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, staff engagement, and patient satisfaction.
The department includes 5 operating rooms, supports approximately 4,000 cases annually, and spans a broad range of specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, GYN, Ophthalmology, Breast, and Robotic procedures. The team consists of approximately 50–60 FTEs.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide overall leadership and direction for surgical services operations
+ Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and regulatory compliance
+ Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives
+ Oversee staffing, productivity, labor management, and employee development
+ Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and cost containment
+ Collaborate with physicians and executive leadership on service line growth
+ Drive operational efficiency, patient throughput, and positive patient experience
+ Support staff engagement, coaching, and professional development
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
+ Master’s Degree preferred
+ 3+ years of applicable experience in Surgical Services
+ Prior leadership experience required
+ Candidates with recent Surgical Services Manager experience will be considered
+ Experience from Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) will also be considered

**Pay Details:** $97,052.00 to $145,000.00 per year
