Survey and Mapping Internship - Summer 2026

KEITH is seeking a Survey and Mapping Intern to join us Summer of 2026 in our Miami, FL location to strengthen our growing firm. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. As a Survey and Mapping Intern, you will work alongside experienced surveyors and office staff to gain hands-on experience in land surveying practices, data processing, and mapping techniques. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about surveying methods, tools, and software while contributing to real-world projects.

What you’ll do:

+ Assist in processing and analyzing survey data using specialized software under the guidance of senior staff.

+ Learn to interpret survey plans, blueprints, and legal descriptions to ensure accurate data processing.

+ Contribute to the preparation of survey maps, plats, and reports.

+ Support the office team in maintaining organized records and documentation of survey projects.

+ Collaborate with surveyors to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

+ Participate in quality control checks and validation of survey data.

The Ideal Intern is:

+ Pursuing a degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.

+ Strong interest in land surveying, geospatial technology, and mapping-related disciplines.

+ Basic knowledge of surveying principles or coursework related to land surveying.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior surveyors.

+ Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

+ Proficient in using computer software for data processing and mapping.

Compensation:

This is a paid internship program.
