Neonatal ICU Director
**Location:** El Paso, TX
**Position Type:** Full-Time | Leadership
**Shift:** Days | Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Incentives
+ **Base Salary:** Up to $130,000 annually (maximum)
+ **Leadership Incentive Bonus:** Eligible for up to 17.5% of annual salary, based on performance metrics
+ **Sign-On Bonus:** Up to $15,000
+ **Relocation Assistance:** Available
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal ICU Director to lead a Level III NICU with approximately 35 beds plus overflow capacity and a team of 60 FTEs. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing clinical quality, operations, staff development, and strategic growth within the NICU and Transition Nursery.
The Director will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care while fostering strong collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of the NICU and Transition Nursery
+ Develop and manage departmental budgets, productivity, and future projections
+ Lead NICU transport services and ensure 24/7 operational coverage
+ Promote multidisciplinary collaboration across nursing, medical, respiratory, pharmacy, lab, and support services
+ Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
+ Manage all aspects of staff leadership, including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and development
+ Partner with executive leadership on capital planning and service line growth
Qualifications
+ BSN required (Master’s degree preferred)
+ Active RN license in Texas or compact state
+ BLS certification required
+ NRP certification required
+ S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
+ Prior NICU leadership experience strongly preferred

**Pay Details:** $120,000.00 to $129,999.00 per year
