    Job Description

    Join our team and be trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. This role requires working with small parts and utilizing hand tools to build and assemble component parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle small parts with precision and good hand/eye dexterity.

    + Use hand tools to assemble different component parts.

    + Gather necessary materials for assembly tasks.

    + Place components onto printed circuit boards.

    + Work at an individual station, standing or sitting throughout the day.

    + Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with electronic assembly.

    + Proficiency with small precision hand tools.

    + Ability to pay close attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Solder certification is a plus.

    + Experience with pick and place can adjust pay rate.

    Work Environment

     

    Our manufacturing environment features long rows with five workstations in each row. The culture is relaxed yet results-oriented, where employees are expected to understand and complete their tasks independently. Safety protocols include temperature checks with medical questions at the start and towards the end of shifts. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional early start times at 5:30 am. Candidates can anticipate 50-60 work hours weekly, including 3-4 hours of overtime daily.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
