Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description
The chosen candidate will be wearing multiple hats in the facility. They will be cross-trained in all processes within the facility.
Responsibilities
+ Lift 50lbs consistently throughout the day.
+ Break down raw materials.
+ Fill sacks and stack them on pallets for the forklift operator.
+ Move pallets of material from point A to point B in the facility.
+ Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and potentially some front-end loaders.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
+ Strong math skills for weighing out materials.
+ Experience operating mobile equipment, including forklifts, sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, skid steers, skid loaders, bobcats, and railcars.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (bulldozer, front-end loader, bobcat, overhead crane, etc.).
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
+ Proven reliability and attendance.
+ Leadership experience.
+ Experience as a farm hand.
+ Railroad experience.

Work Environment
This is not a climate-controlled facility. The shop floor is dusty, and the position may require some work outside of the shop. The hours for this position are 6 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
