Diesel Mechanic – $49/hr (Direct Hire, East Los Angeles)
About the Role
Seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic** to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and truck systems. This is a **direct‑hire** position based in East Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Maintain and repair diesel engines and truck systems**
+ **Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues**
+ **Perform inspections and preventive maintenance**
+ **Repair or replace parts (brakes, bearings, belts, etc.)**
+ **Document service and repair work accurately**
+ **Follow all safety and DOT regulations**
+ **Communicate repair status and parts needs**
+ **Maintain a clean, organized work area**
Required Skills
+ **Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics**
+ **Ability to diagnose and test components**
+ **Experience with general truck repairs and engine accessories**
+ **Proficient with power tools and diagnostic equipment**
+ **Accurate record‑keeping abilities**
Qualifications
+ **Experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic**
+ **Own roll‑away tool cabinet and portable tool cart**
+ **Chassis maintenance experience preferred**
