Job Title: Electronic Assembly Technician** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role involves precise assembly of electronic components and machine operation, ensuring high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
+ Utilize hand tools to install components effectively.
+ Ensure components are received from the prep department.
+ Use tools such as screwdrivers and pliers as needed.
+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
+ Conduct quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Electronic Assembly experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience in utilizing hand tools.
+ Machine operation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior production machinery/machine operation experience preferred.
+ Experience in electronics and mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to accurately read and interpret show layouts.
+ Capability to work within a small range of motions due to the instruments' small components and soldering requirements.

Work Environment
You will work in the production department alongside over 20 other employees, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing. The dress code includes jeans, steel toe boots, and a polo shirt. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 5pm to 1:30am, with standing required for up to 8+ hours per day. Training usually occurs on the 1st shift, but accommodations can be made if necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
