Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, you will ensure that production teams are working in accordance with Work Instructions. You will interpret specifications and job orders to assign duties to employees and establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Additionally, you will coordinate and complete detailed production reports for your shift, interpret company policies, and enforce safety regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure production teams adhere to Work Instructions.

+ Interpret specifications and job orders to assign duties.

+ Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

+ Coordinate and complete production reports for the shift.

+ Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.

+ Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.

+ Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work issues.

+ Initiate or suggest plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals.

+ Resolve employee problems or escalate them to the Operations Manager.

+ Initiate contact for assistance with emergency maintenance, engineering, or quality issues.

+ Complete necessary work orders for maintenance work.

+ Approve time-cards and overtime.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, supervision, and production management.

+ Knowledge of assembly, safety, and continuous improvement.

+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement.

+ Strong supervisory and management skills.

+ Understanding of manufacturing operations and processes.

+ Experience in the automotive industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least a couple of years of experience managing workers in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
