    Job Title: Construction Laborer** **Job Description

     

    The construction laborer will be responsible for loading and unloading super sacks of concrete at a rate of one every 30 minutes to meet production goals. This role involves operating various equipment daily and requires flexibility to assist with site clean-up, material movement, and occasionally help with printing. A collaborative team-first mindset is essential as the role demands adaptability to different tasks beyond equipment operation.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload super sacks of concrete efficiently to meet production goals.

    + Operate equipment daily, including JCB 510 and Manitu telehandlers.

    + Assist with site clean-up and movement of materials as needed.

    + Contribute to team efforts and be willing to take on various tasks beyond equipment operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating JCB 510, Manitu, or similar 12K Telehandlers for multiple hours per day each week.

    + Proficiency in handling construction equipment and concrete materials.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have operated telehandlers regularly within the last six months.

    + Open to working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

    + Willingness to work at multiple job sites with short notice.

    Work Environment

    This is an outdoor construction role with shifts that vary between day and night. Day shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM, while night shifts cover 7 PM to 7 AM. Employees will work in various job sites with changing schedules, ensuring a guaranteed number of hours and opportunities for overtime. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to changing tasks and locations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
