Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler for the 1st Shift, working from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime likely. The position involves assembling electronic equipment and subassemblies, where you will read and interpret instructions, assemble parts, and use tools to fit electronic components.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products.
+ Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, and press fits.
+ Mount assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
+ Connect component wires to circuits and connect wires between individual component leads.
+ Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases, cabinets, and enclosures.
+ Adjust or trim materials from components.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly, production, and schematic interpretation.
+ Proficiency in electrical, wiring, mechanical, and electronic tasks.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
+ Troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
+ Soldering and PCB skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in material assembly and reading diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
+ Ability to clean parts thoroughly and inspect wiring installations.
+ Ability to review work activities with limited supervision.
+ Experience in assembling electrical or electronic systems and installing components.
+ Ability to test products to ensure conformance to specifications.
+ Capacity to lift 20 lbs.
+ Fabricating or modifying parts using shop equipment.
+ Verifying dimensions and clearances of parts.
+ 2+ years of relevant experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Northbrook, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
