Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Description
The Maintenance Manager role involves directing the manufacturing and assembly of rubber products to meet quality and customer service standards. This position requires leadership in safety, understanding of business and manufacturing processes, effective staffing strategies, and a commitment to quality and productivity improvements. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
Responsibilities
+ Direct the manufacturing and assembly processes to meet quality and customer service requirements.
+ Lead with a focus on safety and productivity.
+ Implement and improve manufacturing processes and strategies.
+ Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including work identification, prioritization, planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, and documentation.
+ Manage budgeting and capital expenditure projects.
+ Coordinate asset availability and oversee parts and material management.
+ Apply lean manufacturing and root cause analysis methodologies.
+ Engage in production management and six sigma practices.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years in a maintenance manager role.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing production flow and maintenance strategy.
+ Experience in developing personal training and implementation.
+ Proficiency in budgeting and work/management processes.
+ Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.
+ Expertise in PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with lean manufacturing and root cause analysis.
+ Familiarity with production management, six sigma, CMM, and CAPEX.
+ Ability to acquire, retain, and develop talent.

Work Environment
Work in a union shop with three departments: extrusion, finishing, and mixing. The facility features older machinery and operates in a non-climate-controlled environment. Shifts include 1st (8:00am-4:00pm), 2nd (4:00pm-12:00pm), and 3rd (12:00pm-8:00am).
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Bellefontaine, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
- Safety Glasses re-imbursement ($250 for this role)
