Welder - Weekly Pay - Start ASAP!!

**Location:** Watertown, SD

About the Role We are a leading metal fabrication and machining operation, specializing in precision sheet metal, CNC machining, and welding services. Our team is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

+ Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications

+ Set up welding tools and fixtures; operate MIG/GMAW welding equipment in multiple positions

+ Grind, finish, and inspect welds for quality and structural integrity

+ Clamp, align, tack, and weld parts to meet production standards

+ Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols

+ Use forklifts, cranes, grinders, and hand tools as needed; lift components up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required; welding certification preferred

+ 2–3 years of industrial welding experience preferred

+ Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (tape, calipers, squares)

+ Skilled in MIG welding processes; able to weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Must pass drug screening and work full-time on-site

+ Physically able to lift, stoop, and stand for extended periods

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Watertown, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
