Job Title: HVAC Tester

Job Description

Perform repetitive work station operations to test completed units to ensure that all components function properly prior to being packaged.

Responsibilities

+ Operate A/C units to confirm they function properly.

+ Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and correct problems if they exist.

+ Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

+ Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

+ Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

+ Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements, and build units to the highest standard of quality.

Essential Skills

+ HVAC testing experience

+ Troubleshooting

+ Mechanical skills

+ Maintenance technician experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.

+ Must have knowledge of basic electricity and be familiar with AC and DC components.

+ Computer knowledge is a plus.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ EPA certification is helpful.

+ Ability to communicate clearly using written and verbal skills, fluent in English.

Work Environment

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and Saturday shifts. The work environment is air-conditioned to ensure comfort during work hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.74 - $19.74/hr.
