Job Title: Production Data Entry Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Data Entry Clerk to ensure the accurate and timely entry of packaging work orders into our Marcam computer system. This role involves managing documents, calculating scrap percentages, and collaborating with production leads to review discrepancies.
Responsibilities
+ Enter data for packaging work orders daily using the Marcam computer system.
+ Check all related documents for completeness and accuracy.
+ Arrange packets in the correct sequence for subsequent steps.
+ Remove weight sheets and submit them to QA.
+ File downtime logs appropriately.
+ Confirm operators' calculations on products produced and materials consumed daily.
+ Calculate actual scrap percentage on work-in-progress and document it.
+ Review scrap percentages that are above or below acceptable levels with the Production Lead.
+ Report finished cases, items, and pounds produced per work order.
+ Track consumption of materials used in packaging work orders.
+ Conduct cycle counts of materials as needed.
+ Read and distinguish raw material codes and lot numbers.
+ Read and distinguish finished goods product codes and lot numbers.
+ Walk production lines and record machine speeds.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in data entry and administrative support.
+ Experience with production and administrative assistance.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
+ Strong skills in inventory management and customer service.
+ Experience with SAP and email administration.
+ Competence in shipping/receiving clerk duties.
+ Strong computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to create end-of-shift Production Report spreadsheets.
+ Report items produced using Excel spreadsheets.
+ Communicate effectively with other shift production clerks.
+ Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
+ Perform check-in procedures for temporary employees during shift changes and breaks.

Work Environment
The work environment is structured with a strict attendance policy, allowing 3 points in the first and last 90 days of the contract. Unexcused absences or no-shows result in 1 point, while being late or leaving early incurs 0.5 points. Exceeding attendance points will result in termination. The position requires adherence to these attendance guidelines to maintain employment.

This is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
