    Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC Press Brakes, specializing in sheet metal fabrication. You will be responsible for the forming, bending, and punching of sheet metal using state-of-the-art machinery such as Amada, Cincinnati, and Trumpf.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines.

    + Perform sheet metal fabrication, including forming, bending, and punching.

    + Operate various machines including Press Brake, Punch Press, and Laser Machines.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints, specification sheets, and work orders.

    + Maintain machinery in good working order and conduct re-work procedures when necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    + Experience in metalworking and hollow metal fabrication is preferred.

    + Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment.

    + Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to layout and load materials using basic math and hand-held measuring tools.

    + Experience with CAD/CAM systems and entering machine instructions.

    + Competence in setting up mills and lathes.

    + Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures and finished product characteristics.

    Work Environment

     

    The position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The work environment is supported by comprehensive training materials and resources, including instructional videos to familiarize you with the facility and operations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
