Job Title: Packer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will ensure that packaging materials are ready to align with the production schedule and maintain quality control by inspecting products for defects. You will be responsible for packaging products according to specifications, communicating quality issues, and maintaining a clean work area.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure proper packaging material is available to match the production schedule.
+ Inspect products for quality defects such as unwrapped products, loose wrappers, foreign objects, defective packaging, and proper labeling/lot numbers.
+ Package products in cartons/cases according to specifications.
+ Communicate packaging and product quality problems to the line leader or supervisor.
+ Stack fully packed/sealed cases on pallets according to product specification layout.
+ Wrap full pallets of products with stretch wrap and identify with proper production ticket.
+ Coordinate the movement of full pallets with the material handler.
+ Ensure the work area is clean and orderly at all times.
+ Count and weigh scrap and report to the line leader or supervisor.

+ Experience in packing, palletizing, kitting, material handling, cleaning, general labor, and forklift operation
+ Ability to operate a pallet jack
+ Experience in general production, picking, boxing, and inspection

Work Environment
Work in a clean, air-conditioned, FDA-regulated facility. The role requires standing all day, so candidates must be comfortable with this physical requirement. Please note that no personal items, food, or drinks are allowed on the production floor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
