Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team for 2nd and 3rd shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical functions, including maintenance and repair of machines and electrical systems within our plant. As part of our commitment to innovation, we are implementing technology and automation to replace paper-based and manual processes.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures during job duties.
+ Perform electrical duties related to construction, installation, and repair of plant equipment.
+ Provide electrical services to ensure continuous and reliable operation of plant equipment.
+ Install new electrical services and complete all assigned preventative maintenance.
+ Utilize lockout/tag procedures when performing electrical duties and testing.
+ Maintain cleanliness in the maintenance shop and perform clean-up after maintenance jobs.
+ Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
+ Experience with 480v/3 phase systems.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic schematics.
+ Minimum 2 years of demonstrated electrical experience.
+ Experience working with contactors, sensors, relays, and stop/start circuits preferred.

Work Environment
Our facility comprises three departments: extrusion, finishing, and mixing, featuring eight extrusion lines, chillers, boilers, and conveyors. The shop operates under a union structure, although this role is non-union. The facility houses older machinery and is non-climate controlled, offering a unique working environment for those ready to take on the challenge.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellefontaine, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $65187.00/hr.
