Job Title: F Shift Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

As an F Shift Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the equipment and ensuring the smooth operation of production and process support systems within the plant. You will work collaboratively with other mechanics and team leaders to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize machinery, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain production equipment and process support equipment for the plant.

+ Locate and replace defective components promptly.

+ Collaborate with other mechanics on complex repairs.

+ Troubleshoot motor control centers, relays, solenoids, and electrical drives.

+ Set up packaging equipment, such as cartoners.

+ Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and BRC food safety requirements.

+ Understand the function of all production and process support equipment.

+ Handle SPA responsibilities for EHS protocols.

+ Request parts for equipment repairs following the request process.

+ Follow spare equipment schedules for necessary repairs.

+ Teach, coach, and mentor line operators in the PM process.

+ Support Production Team Leaders in production tasks.

+ Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and the maintenance shop.

Essential Skills

+ Strong mechanical skills.

+ Experience with troubleshooting conveyor systems, AC/DC motors, and pneumatic systems.

+ Industrial maintenance and repair knowledge.

+ Basic understanding of electrical systems, including HDMI's and fault codes.

+ Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OSHA certified Forklift Operator is a plus.

+ Ability to use basic hand tools such as drills and grinders.

+ Ownership and competence in using a Presto Approved VOM meter digital multi-meter.

Work Environment

The position operates in a climate-controlled environment, often around equipment at temperatures exceeding 300°F. Physical requirements include standing or walking for the entire shift, climbing stairs or ladders, working in high places, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday-Tuesday and Saturday-Tuesday, with optional overtime available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69264.00 - $69264.00/yr.
