Join our team as a Pharmacy Floor Technician where you will play a crucial role in the preparation and verification of prescriptions. This full-time position requires five 8-hour shifts per week, including weekdays and every other weekend, with shifts rotating every two weeks. Responsibilities
+ Accurately and efficiently fill daily drug orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
+ Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle or dispose of them per procedure.
+ Prepack frequently ordered medications, label and store them during low volume times.
+ Manually package materials and products.
+ Pull and pick medications from shelving and other storage areas.
+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks.
+ Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication or product that is not scanning properly.
+ Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies as needed.
+ Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
+ Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
+ Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to work at a moderate speed.
+ Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
+ Possess and maintain a clear and active TX Pharmacy Technician License issued by the TX Board of Pharmacy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
+ Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is desirable.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and involves standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and walking intermittently throughout the day. Shifts are scheduled on a two-week rotation, with opening shifts from 8am to 4:30pm and closing shifts from 12pm to 8:30pm, Monday through Friday. Technicians are expected to work every other weekend from 8am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Physical demands include finger dexterity to operate office equipment, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and visual acuity for reading fine prints. The role requires close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus, as well as the ability to hear normal voice sounds. The environment complies with safety, attendance, and dress code standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
