We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Operations Manager to lead the Spokane branch of a national environmental firm. This role is crucial in overseeing branch operations, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and efficient management, while driving revenue growth and providing strategic direction. A strong sales aptitude is beneficial, as the role involves quoting and enhancing the company's success.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and processes.
+ Direct and optimize overall operations in Spokane.
+ Communicate all necessary report information to pertinent departments.
+ Review operational reports and address any issues related to operations, customer concerns, regulatory compliance, and safety.
+ Monitor branch performance, focusing on safety and environmental issues, and provide solutions to recurring problems.
+ Provide leadership and direction, fostering a secure and respectful team-oriented workplace.
+ Ensure employees operate according to company goals, objectives, and core values by monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
+ Conduct field visits to inspect equipment and working environments.
+ Collaborate with the District Manager to monitor safety statistics and ensure compliance with reporting procedures.
+ Market company services aggressively and seek growth opportunities while maintaining collaborative and profitable relationships with customer organizations.
+ Prepare annual budget based on market projections and enforce cost controls to achieve financial targets.
+ Monitor equipment and parts inventories to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
+ Perform annual performance reviews and participate in the development of niche markets to enhance profitability.
+ Identify and communicate potential growth opportunities to the Operations Team.
+ Direct weekly meetings to ensure effective dissemination of information and tasks.
+ Participate in compensation, training, and bonus recommendations for field and office staff.
+ Follow all compliance regulations and safely operate vehicles in accordance with requirements.

Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment with travel to sites on an as-needed basis. Availability for on-call duties is required due to the nature of the work involving emergencies. The current team consists of 7 members, which is expected to grow to 10. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
